The book so far is great, no complaints yet. It’s currently my favourite book. My favourite character so far is Joe -the main character, I like how he enjoys his life but used to like it more. Before for his birthday they would go to the burger shop, but they couldn’t afford the burgers so would order chips and secretly eat the sandwiches that they snuck in.Though now he gets whatever he wants and fly’s around in a solid gold helicopter. But what will happen next…Sadly I am not the person to tell you read the book for yourself to find out! I can only tell you that I’m dying to read on.

This book is by David Walliams, one of my favourite authors in fact and Tony Ross. (the illustrator of the book) It was about a young boy named Joe Spud. His father, is really really really really really super rich. Joe has everything he want like he owns a cinema, his own car and if it breaks, he can get a better one etc. But all he needs is a friend. His father send him to a lot of posh schools but he can't make a friend because he is so fat by eating chocolates and his father became rich by loo roles. So, in the end he gets a friend from a normal public school and stays happy.
This book made me feel happy, sad, exciting, scared (bullying), gross(canteen food).
I recommend this book to everyone who likes happy and exciting (super rich) books. So ,just give it a go.
By the way, this book taught me that money can't buy you happiness.

Joe Spud ,who is the richest boy in the country, has everything he could ever want except one thing .His father owns a toilet paper company and is always buying things for Joe but he doesn't spend time with him.
The 2 things Joe wants is to spend time with his dad and be normal.
