Demon Dentist

Demon Dentist was another absolutely, fantastic book from David Walliams! Like all the other 9 books I've read (written by David Walliams) this is another 5 stars!

This book was a bit scary because the dentist was a demon, the dentist loves rotten teeth which I found weird and scary.

At times the book made me want to read on and others made it to frightening for me to carry on.
There is this boy called Alfie and when he was younger and had a wobbly tooth he went to the dentist to get it removed. When he got there the dentist was quite old. And he asked him to remove his tooth while the dentist was taking the tooth by mistake he took out the wrong tooth.
Since that day Alfie has not gone to the dentists.
One day while Alfie was in school in assembly a new dentist was in town and broke the news of the death of the old dentist quite recently and she was the demon…

I thought it was an exciting and adventurous book but the author could have been more descriptive.

I thought this book was good because it's showing that you should go to the dentist and to watch out around any mysterious dentists. Its also quite weird because a dentist flies on a jet pack and goes into peoples houses and put's strange things under your pillow. She also gave out sweets, she told everyone that the sweets were sugar free . Miss Root (the dentist) gave Alfred (the boy with rotten teeth) some special toothpaste which Alfred found out that it exploded so he through the toothpaste in the drain. Then dead fish came up to the top.

I thought this book was amazing because it was about a dentist and a boy but sadly at the end it is very sad .

This book was about an evil dentist. When children put a tooth under their pillow, she would come and collect the tooth but would put something horrible under their pillow, like earwigs, spiders or dead slugs. I liked it because it was very entertaining and I kept wanting to read on. It was a bit scary though.

The book was very funny and made me curious. It used lots of good vocab and some funny made up words.

Amazing, bit of tragedy, great plot and great range of vocabulary.

Funny but intriguing

This book is funny but intriguing. I found it quite hard to finish and it took a very long time. I still recommend this book. I think that people 9+ should read this book because the description is quite intense for a younger reader.
