This book shows Greg Heffley on another holiday but the beginning of the story goes wrong and Greg is in his Grammas basement and then they go on holiday and it goes horribly wrong.

At one point Greg's shower ran out because you need money to get the shower going, so when he went to ask for more money a very hairy man hopped into Greg's shower. Greg said, and what really stunk was when he started using my shampoo.
