Great books for parents to read with their children.
I thought this book was interesting. Lexie’s mum leaves her house for a trip which should take a few hours, then doesn’t ever come back. She is taken to a foster home, and gets foster parents and a foster sister, and a pet tortoise. During this, she writes letters to her mum about her life, how she has started a band, and her crush had asked her out.
