I thought this book was the best book about birthdays because there is a WISHING CAKE!! Basically, it's a cake that when you eat a piece of it you can make a wish. How amazing is that and it's Beth's birthday (Beth is a character in the book). I'd love to go there its sounds fun to me!
This book made me feel Happy, Excited, Curious, Amused
I love the part when the old saucepan man eats the wishing cake and wishes to go fishing in the middle of the sea.
I like how it is a chapter book but it still has a picture on every page. I would like to read some more from the series in the future.
