This book was really good. After Jim's mother dies, he is forced to go to the workhouse with horrible Grimy Nick and get separated from his sisters Emily and Lizzie. Jim tries to escape Grimy Nick and meets Barnie (Which is Jim's name for him, ) at the end. Heartwarming and heartbreaking, this is a very inspiring and gripping victorian book. I recommend it to literally EVERYONE🌍
